Even after all these years, it is still a complex question. While there is no simple answer, we believe there are a number of reasons why raw milk is better than conventional milk:

Raw milk lets you get to know your farmer

The biggest thing you can do as a raw milk consumer to protect yourself is to get your milk directly from the farmer.

Opening our doors to raw milk has allowed us to build relationships with our customers. We share our years of experience in the farming and dairy industry with them, which helping us build a trusting relationship. Letting them know that we have their best interests in our heart and mind.

Raw milk provides health benefits that support your body

While often times debated, we believe there are a number of positive health benefits to drinking raw milk. While pasteurization is effective at killing off potentially harmful bacteria more commonly found in conventional dairy farming, it also has the effect of killing off good bacteria that can help support gut health.

Raw milk offers an optimal balance of macro nutrients, with each serving containing 8 grams of protein, 8 grams of healthy fats, and packed full of vitamins.

Raw milk reinvests in the local community

The dairy industry faces seemingly insurmountable challenges, and our own farm is not immune.

In the past decade alone, New York State has lost 30% of its dairy farms. Our area has been hit particularly hard, with a number of farm closing their doors. Our farm is one of the few remaining family dairies left in the Hudson Valley.

However, raw milk has given New York dairy farmers an avenue to help provide for their families, bringing financial stability in a world that seems to be increasingly less certain.
